Addressing journalists after a Politburo meeting in Harare yesterday, party spokesperson Simon Khaya Moyo says the party was thoroughly preparing for elections the party wants to win thunderously.

He says in welcoming the politburo members, President Robert implored the people to start serious preparations for the 2017/18 agricultural season.

Reports were also given on the annual national people’s conference set for Gwanda in Matabeleland North province in December.

Khaya Moyo says party national party commissar Saviour Kasukuwere reported on the seminars held by a team led by national secretary for administration Ignatius Chombo that went around the country he described as productive ahead of the elections.
