Tsvangirai’s son set to take over late sister’s Glen View seat

The late MDC leader Morgan Tsvangirai’s son, Vincent, has won the opposition MDC primary elections and will represent the party in the Glen View by-election.

Vincent will wait for a Zanu PF opponent in the race to fill the seat left vacant after the death of his sister Vimbai who succumbed to injuries sustained after an accident in Kwekwe.

The late Tsvangirai’s son garnered 148 votes and was declared the party candidate in the by-election on September 7.

Another by-election has been set for the same date in Mangwe constituency to fill the vacant seat left after the death of Zanu PF’s Obedingwa Mguni last month.
