Ten apostolic sect members feared dead in Wedza horror crash

Several members of an apostolic sect are feared dead in Hwedza after they were reportedly hit by a lorry Monday morning on their way from a church service.


Police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi could not immediately confirm the fatal accident but witnesses said the lorry carrying maize to Harare hit the apostolic sect members leaving more than 10 people dead.

The church members were congregating at a shrine in Machitope, Hwedza when tragedy struck.
