TWO more suspects have been arrested in connection with the death of a cross border trader at an illegal pick up point for Mutare bound buses near Roadport in Harare.

Ngonidzashe Ndlovu (26) of Epworth and Nyaradzo Nzombe (29) of New Mabvuku appeared before a Harare Magistrate and were charged with the murder Mathias Gore. They were not asked to plead and were remanded in custody to 20 October 2017. Magistrate Josephine Sande advised the duo to apply for bail at the High Court.
The State alleges the Ndlovu and Nzombe were among the touts who forcefully dragged Gore, who in the company of his wife, into boarding a Smart Bus Company with the registration number ADZ 3478. During the fracas, according to eyewitnesses, Gore was assaulted by the touts leading to his death.
The duo, according to court papers, was positively identified by eyewitnesses who said upon setting foot at the pick-up point at around 5AM on 26 September 2017, the couple was mobbed and manhandled by the touts who force-marched them into the bus.
Another suspect has since appeared in court facing similar charges of murder and the State intends to merge their dockets.
The police also claim that some of the suspects are still on the run.
