Harare City came from a goal down to beat Highlanders 3-1 in an entertaining Castle Lager Premier Soccer League clash at Rufaro on Saturday.

Harare City coach Mark Harrison applauded the performance of his team saying the win well deserved.

Highlanders are yet to taste victory this season and coach, Madinda Ndlovu, said the defeat was emblematic of poor preparation.

Highlanders took the lead in the 24th minute through Prince Dube but goals from Munyaradzi Diro in the 29th minute, Walter Mukanga in the 34thminute and impressive young warrior, Tatenda Tumba in the 56th ensured the Sunshine Boys collected maximum points with their first win of the season.

ZPC Kariba edged Tel-One 1-nil away at Mandava while Chicken Inn beat 10-men Dynamos 2-nil at Barbourfields.

Ageing striker Edward Sadomba was given his marching orders for a second bookable offense.

Chicken Inn remains top of the table with nine points.

Meanwhile, a female Dynamos fan died in a horrific accident while other supporters were seriously injured while driving to Bulawayo for the match.
