The Zimbabwe International Trade Fair Company, organisers of the event, said in terms of local participation, 30% of the exhibitors will come from Bulawayo while the rest will come from other cities.

“In terms of local participation, exhibitors were coming from Harare while 30 percent will come from Bulawayo and the remainder from other cities,” ZITF Head of Marketing at Public Relations Stella Nkomo said.

Nkomo said 11 are foreign exhibitors coming from the People’s Republic of China, Japan, South Africa and Zambia.

“Judging from the type of equipment and products being displayed, the exhibition promises to be of high quality.”

Mines and Mining Development Minister, Winston Chitando, will officially open the event tomorrow and present awards to the winning displays.

An inter-ministerial roundtable to focus on a vision to reset Zimbabwe’s mining sector ideals has also been set for tomorrow.
