Kaizer Chiefs turn down Zamalek’s R23 million offer for Billiat
South African soccer giants Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly turned down a R23 million offer from Egyptian giants Zamalek for Zimbabwe international Khama Billiat.
Billiat was on the radar of the Egyptian giants but reports indicate that Amakhosi wanted to accept the offer but the Zimbabwe international told them he was not interested in playing football in Egypt.
This was the biggest offer to the club for Khama.
Chiefs have already sold Billiat’s fellow country-man Teenage Hadebe to Turkish club Yeni Malatyaspor.
It remains to be seen if they will also sell Billiat if an offer from overseas comes before the end of the transfer period.
