Tapfumanei Allan Muwande allegedly assaulted the now deceased Tinashe Chiweshe with fists, a chair and other unidentified weapons after he found him having sex with his wife Faith Katsaura at their matrimonial home in Greendale last Friday.

Chiweshe, according to the State, was rushed to a local referral hospital where he later died on Sunday.

Muwande appeared before Harare Provincial Magistrate Josephine Sande charged with the murder of Chiweshe. He was remanded to October 25 on $300 bail and ordered to reside at his provided address.

He was also ordered to report twice a week to Rhodesville Police Station and to surrender his passport with the clerk of court.

Muwande was represented by Harare lawyer Harrison Nkomo while Tatenda Murindagomo appeared for the State.
